Tuition Assistance
Each school
year a portion of the proceeds of the Annual Appeal is designated for
tuition assistance. Parents/Guardians of enrolled students interested
in applying for tuition assistance need to observe the following process:
- A
written request must be addressed to the Assistant Principal for Finance
and Operations. Upon receipt of this communication, a confidential
Parent’s
Financial Statement (PFS) will be sent to the family. This form must
be completed and returned to the School Scholarship Service in Princeton,
New Jersey no later than the first Friday in April. The code for Norwood-Fontbonne
Academy is 5424. If you would like to complete this form online you can log on to the School Scholarship Service's website here.
- If parents are divorced/separated, both parents must complete a form.
The custodial parent files the PFS and the non-custodial parent files
a separate form. These forms will be forwarded once the written request
is received by the Assistant Principal for Finance and Operations.
- The School Scholarship Service will assess the information provided
on the PFS and communicate its recommendation for financial assistance
to the Assistant Principal for Finance and Operations.
- A Copy of the most recent 1040 Income Tax form must be submitted to
the Assistant Principal for Finance and Operations. No decision for
tuition assistance will be considered until Norwood-Fontbonne Academy
receives this form and the recommendation from the School Scholarship
Service.
- Decisions regarding tuition assistance will be communicated by August
